In educational theatre, distinct rehearsal strategies profoundly influence and shape creative processes. With a particular focus on game theatre, this research project examines how rehearsals are adapted or (re)designed in the context of postdigital performing arts in context and drama teaching.
The research project aims to contribute to the conceptualization of postdigital theatre practice in educational contexts and to advance the still relatively new discourse on postdigitality within the field. In the RehearDig project, potential approaches to postdigital drama teaching will be identified, discussed, and made accessible to practitioners of performing arts in context and drama teachers. Additionally, the project will contribute to the further development of necessary digital (educational) resources.
