Holding a ‘Diplom-Kaufmann’ in business administration (University of Hagen, 1991) and a PhD in journalism studies (university of Dortmund, 1999), habilitated in media- and communication sciences (university of Leipzig, 2006), teaching (lectures and classes) at the universities of Frankfurt (Oder), Mannheim and Leipzig since 1999, founding the training program for television at University of Leipzig in 2000/2001, substituting professorships in Leipzig and Koblenz, developing the media department at the Karl-Scharfenberg faculty of Ostfalia University of applied Sciences at Salzgitter, there working as a professor for communication management at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.
